Galileo

Galileo was an astronomer and physicist in the early 1300's. He was arrested for speaking out against the church, stating that the sun does not revolve around the earth (this confirmed Copernicius's theory) but, in fact, the earth and planets revolve around the sun. The church disagreed with his ideals, as they had taught countless generations before that the earth was the center of the universe, and everything revolved around it. He also discovered several planets which we still refer to today by his original names. He made the first telescope, and was a part of the Illuminati movement. He wrote papers and books that were found and destroyed by the Roman Catholic church in an effort to cover up Galileo's teachings.
